My role here at Lavandi Talent is operations manager and my background is being a HR manager working for a large bank for 10 years. So how did I get into recruitment? I know Gary and Andy on a personal level and when they decided to open their own recruitment company I watched on with admiration and a little bit of jealousy as they started their brave venture.
I decided and more importantly (they let me) join the Lavandi team and use my expertise from my past career to help them in their business.
After deciding to join Lavandi Talent and take up a career in recruitment, I can confidently say it was the best decision I ever made, it is such a rewarding job. Building real, lasting relationships with candidates and clients has been the highlight for me. You never know who is going to apply for one of your roles on any given day and the relationship you will have months later with that candidate after helping them find their dream role is the real reward!
