I grew up in Tamworth in the Midlands with my parents and brother before moving away to Nottingham for University and studied Business, Law and Marketing. Moving out of my home and moving to the city was exactly what I needed to help me grow, gain everyday life skills (no more moms cooking) and really find myself! My uni days were when I started experimenting with fashion and quickly after I managed to land a job as a visual merchandiser for Topshop which opened me up to the whole fashion industry which I loved! From there I wanted to build on what I had learned at university and decided to move forward into a career in insurance in which I spent the next 9 years, working in numerous different roles that have provided me with invaluable skills from client relationship management to engagement building within the office.
My passion for the fashion and beauty industry along with my skill set I have gained from my career in insurance, I knew when meeting Andy, Gary and Tom that Lavandi was were I wanted to be. After coming from a big corporate company, I love that Lavandi is like my family away from home, having a work space where you enjoy coming into the office everyday, working with a diverse group of people it is great to collaborate with one another and support each other and I am excited for the future I am building here for myself as I am fully driven to succeed!
