I was brought up in a small village in the Ribble Valley called West Bradford with my three younger siblings and my parents. When I was 19, I moved to Birmingham to study a degree in Specialist Hair and Media Makeup at University College Birmingham. I loved this experience as I feel being in a city and moving away from home really encouraged me to grow in confidence as a person and become more self assured in my decisions and skills.
Once completing my degree, I decided to move back to the North, which was all during Covid-19, so it was a bit of a difficult period to say the least, but the light at the end of the tunnel was Lavandi Talent. I hadn’t worked in recruitment before joining the company, but Andy, Gary and Tom gave me a chance to pursue such a rewarding and fulfilling career, where I get to work with such great clients and candidates and build amazing relationships with them, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do this every day. I always look forward to coming into work to get the chance to learn new skills and work towards my goals, and everyone at Lavandi Talent creates such a fun and positive environment to work in!
Since joining this amazing company, I have felt so welcomed into the team, they have supported me every step of the way to help me be the best recruiter I can be. I am so excited to keep learning and growing with the company and I can’t wait to see what the future holds and the exiting success that’s in store for Lavandi Talent!
