Here at Lavandi Talent, we’ve had a busy year - especially when it came to our events calendar. As we see out the year and get ready for 2023, it’s the perfect time to look back at the fantastic awards, trade shows, conferences and more we attended throughout the year.
In-cosmetics Global
Paris, April 2022
The leading personal care ingredients show In-cosmetics Global returned to Paris in 2022 with a bang, attracting over 8,000 international visitors and 700+ exhibitors.
Highlights included the in-cosmetics Global awards, live demonstrations, technical seminars and much more.
Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna
Bologna, April/May 2022
An international beauty trade show which has been running for 50+ years, Cosmoprof attracted a whopping 220,000 visitors in 2022. There were 2,700 exhibitors, spanning all corners of the global beauty industry. It’s the place where beauty brands do business, with endless networking opportunities.
IsoClean Event x Steven Bartlett
Manchester, May 2022
We were thrilled to receive an invite to this unique event, featuring the youngest of the dragons on BBC’s Dragon’s Den – Steven Bartlett. The Manchester entrepreneur teamed up with makeup tools cleaning specialist Isoclean for a special networking dinner, with influential figures from the world of beauty and cosmetics in attendance.
Professional Beauty North
Manchester, September 2022
Professional Beauty North is known as the leading event for salon and spa professionals in the north of England.
2022’s event was held at Manchester Central, kicking off on 25th September 2022. It boasted thrilling product launches, amazing competitions and first-class educational speaker sessions. It was a great feeling to see northern-based beauty professionals, spa and clinic owners, colleges and home-based therapists all under one roof after a difficult couple of years.
Cosmetics Business Live
London, October 2022
Cosmetics Business Live is a content-led expo which provides a platform for everyone from brand owners to suppliers and retailers. Leading figures from across the beauty and cosmetics come together to share insights, grow their network and discover the latest trends. It’s the full cosmetics supply chain all in one room, including of course our beauty recruitment specialists.
This year’s event took place in London’s iconic Business Design Centre from 17th -18th October. It was the first in-person iteration of the event since the pandemic. Last year’s event was all digital, but 2022’s CBL involved a wealth of live presentations and keynote speakers.
Pure Beauty Awards
London, October 2022
A real favourite in our events calendar, the Pure Beauty Awards aims to recognise and celebrate exceptional achievement across the industry throughout the year. 2022 was its biggest year yet, with 48 awards handed out across 11 beauty and personal care categories. The event was hosted by award-winning comedian Luisa Omielan, and held on 27th October just a stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square.
Lavandi Talent is exceedingly proud to have been an official sponsor of the awards in both 2021 and 2022.
Salon International
London, October 2022
Salon International is one of the biggest exhibitions in the beauty industry calendar, attracting thousands of visitors each year. This year’s hair-focused extravaganza took place at London ExCeL from 8th -10th October (we had a very busy October!) and provided over 100 hours of education across three days.
World-leading stylists and influential industry leaders graced three live stages, including the Colour Stage, HJ Stage and Modern Barber Stage.
